About the compositions and scores Thomas' compositions were recorded for the Norwegian and Dutch radio and many of them are available on CD recordings. The list includes more than 50 tunes written for small jazz ensembles. Work for larger ensemble and through out composed chamber music are catching up. In 2002 Thomas was supported by "Komponistenes vederlagsfond" to write five compositions for a nine piece jazz band. In 2003 bassist Dan Stiffe ordered a piece for bass and piano. Other through out composed pieces for bass are: Upright Funeral Music for two bassists (2001) and Variations Of A Jazz Ballad for bass and piano (2002). Having Some Time To Think for Big Band was played by The Jazz orchestra Of The Concertgebouw at Bimhuis, Amsterdam april 4th 2004 The list includes only compositions that have proved to work in a live situation or on a recording. The jazz tunes notation are done as lead sheet. Some tunes have an additional arrangement for piano in order to give a more complete impression of a song. Work for large ensembles and chamber music are completely written out. The lead sheets don't have details from an actual recording. A very few titles on the list are recorded improvisations without a score.
The sound files are live or studio recordings.
The midi playback of sibelius files give an impression of a song, but the sound is poor, some instruments are also mutet or not completely written out .
