Thomas Winther Andersen 1969

Originally from Norway Thomas Winther Andersen has lived in Amsterdam for several years. Next to playing the bass Thomas contributes with compositions and arrangements in most of his bands. Many of his compositions were recorded on CD and for the radio. He toured in Europe and the USA with different musicians and bands and also performed solo bass with dancers in different theater productions. Players Thomas has worked with: Lee Konitz , Sheila Jordan, Jasper Blom, Robert Rook, Michiel Borstlap, Håkon Storm and many more. The scores from the duo album with drums Too Much Bass? are available on demand! These leed sheets show the arrangements and some technical solutions such as fingering and chord changes. Bass to Bass and Waltz for Debby are two examples of the musical notation.

A bass workshop now posted on You Tube made for gitaarnet.nl is for free. It also contains scores and text to some effective rudimental exercises.
